Hi Jonas Lozano, welcome back to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.

It’s great to be back here. I’m Jonas Lozano, an Ilonggo singer-songwriter from Iloilo City, Philippines. I can play drums, bass and rhythm guitars. I write songs for God and my girlfriend Kring.

Track list:

  1. I Will
  2. Ano Ba
  3. Kapiling
  4. Paghigugma
  5. I Really Wanna Hold You
  6. You Will Always Be Loved by Me – Radio Edit

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

Much about love, declaring it, meaning it and doing something for it. Love comes from God, in fact He himself is love. We are being taught of it through His expressions of love towards us in people around us.

What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?

Life can bring us much test and we often fail suffering loss and pain. I realize that whatever happens one must never make a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Life once taken away can never be brought back anymore.

What is your favorite part of this body of work?

Where it says in I Will, “I will love you until the final breath has left my lungs!” Despite the sadness and all the hindrances we can still be hopeful. Love can fuel us in being driven to continue in life in the midst of life’s setbacks.
