A fusion of rap and hip hop, “Determinado” has that familiar “Gento” vibe. Determination in English, this genius showcased Josue’s creativity and Pablo’s other side and versatility. Pablo’s voice has so much character and how he tells the story is just lit! He is a musical genius. No wonder he is the “Pinuno” of SB19. Josue is on fire too with his exemplary flow!
“Determinado” is not your typical hip-hop rap song. This epic masterpiece is the new standard of this genre—it shines with its purpose, the clarity in delivering the message, the flawless production/arrangement, and the creative blend of layers showcasing the artistry of the artists that will surely excite the listeners.
Pablo is also a lyrical genius! The lyricism is top of the class. The bars are out of this world. The delivery, the angst! The witty use of Tagalog words that you can interpret from different perspectives. We can’t get enough to describe how smart this collaboration is!
This fiery track delivers a powerful message to be brave, resilient, and always determined to reach our dreams. Some people may challenge us or have different views on the path we’re taking. But we must not let it drown us. Instead, we can use this as a driving force to be better. Face your fear and live your dreams.
What sets this song apart from other songs is the positivity it brings (which Pablo is known for). There is power in having a positive mindset and commitment to pursue our goals despite the challenges along the way. It is also helpful to have a personal relationship with God to guide us properly in our journey.
Our “pagsibol” (growth) will come at the right time if we put in the hard work, determination, and faith. Kudos again to Pablo and Josue for being messengers of hope to others through their music. As a singer-songwriter, I am inspired and empowered by your epic song. It ignited the fire in me to keep pushing for my music too. I’m sure it’s the same impact for all the listeners, whatever field they are into.
