Philippines’ hottest OPM artist, Jikamarie, releases her most anticipated EP, “Lover Girl.” The young Warner Music Philippines‘ singer-songwriter is known for immersing herself in genres such as R&B, alternative pop, and dream-pop. Her songs convey the sentiments of one’s varying encounters with love, mental and emotional challenges, and how one navigates youth.
Jikamarie, born into a family closely tied to music is a musician from Metro Manila, who directs herself as a curious writer. A product of the pandemic and isolation, she wrote about her sentiments with fatigue, confusion, and worry about the future.
