Flirty, sensual and definitely superficial!
As an artist, are your intentions pure for the sake of the audience?
American singer and actress Selena Gomez releases her new single “Love On” accompanied by a very flirty and sensual music video. The MV is highly suggestive and is misinterpreted as fun and even as a empowering anthem!
The lyrics of “Love On” makes us all think that we can just be easy to get with the kind of love that is superficial. “This doesn’t have to be some sort of mathematical equation, Slip off your jeans, slide in the sheets, Screaming “yes” in quotations…”
Selena we can all say has grown in her music career but sadly jumped on the bandwagon to join other pop icons in the quest to spread shallow or even false love. She even mentioned in one Vogue interview that she is a Christian and believes in God, so how did she end up with “Love On”?
All in all, Selena created a bop, totally cute and groovy yet it’s just another pop song that ruins the true meaning of love.
