Hi Jimi C & The Waves, welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.
Jimi C is a Los Angeles based songwriter, TV/film composer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer turned recording artist who strives to make the world a little bit brighter through music, one song at a time. He released his fifth studio single, “Run Away,” on Spotify and all streaming platforms last March 8th.
“Run Away” is an indie alt pop rock song that depicts a longing for escape and adventure with a loved one. The lyrics express a desire to leave behind familiar surroundings and embark on a romantic journey together. Multi-Instrumentalist Jimi Cracovaner emphasizes real instrumentation, fun upbeat rhythms, melodies, vocal harmonies and even a fun analog synthesizer solo.

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
Released on March 8, 2024. I’ve recently embarked on a challenge to write and record 50 songs in about a year’s time. I love to create, write and record music. This song captures the feeling of loving someone so much that you just want to run away with them and be happy anywhere in the world.
What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?
I am an artist, composer, producer, mix engineer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. I am very proud that I have spent the majority of my life developing each and every one of these skills.
It has been a very time-consuming journey, but I feel like I am in a really good position to use my platform to spread positivity and happiness to the world!
I’m proud that I can write a song, produce it, record all the instruments on it, sing all the vocals on it, mix it myself and then send it out into the world for people to enjoy.
What is your favorite part of this body of work?
I really love the outro on this song. It’s a really fun section of music with a lot of great vocal harmonies!

I plan on continuing to release a new single every 6-8 weeks through out 2024!
