LA Music Review | Art, stories and advice
Genuine, relatable and totally empowering!

Hi welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.
I’m a Latin country artist and songwriter.
I write mostly about my real life experiences, and am influenced by strong female powerhouses which can be reflected in my music. I love to create music that fans can connect with and that feels authentically me.

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
Released on September 17, 2021. This song means a lot to me. I wrote this with a good friend, David Espinoza while talking about a past situation- that moment at the end of a relationship where you know it’s over but you’re holding on to that last bit of… anything. I wanted the visualizer to reflect those flashbacks you get at the end of a relationship where it might all just be a blur and I wanted the overall production to sound simple yet powerful. It’s such a special song to me and releasing it has been so fun.
What is your vision for this song?
“Used To” is a single that is setting the tone for more new music and a new project I’m working on. It definitely shows a different sound than what I previously have put out, it reflects maturity and strength and a more vulnerable side of my music. I want my audience to know there’s strength in heartbreak and that coming out on the other side of it stronger than ever is so empowering.

What is your favorite part of the song?
I love the bridge and the instrumentation with this song. The dobro parts were perfect (Josh Matheny – Carly Pearce, Sam Hunt) and that brought the song to another level. Jason Bobo who produced the song had the same vision I did and I’m happy it turned out the way it did.
Anything else we should know about it? Future releases?
I’m currently working on new material and in the studio. Hoping to release more singles which will lead into an EP in 2022. Keep up to date on my socials and on my website.
