The Northwestern Ohio native started to perform in countless venues around the Ohio area, starting professionally gigging at the age of 12. Known for her rich alto tone and her poignant persona and performance ability on stage, Vaughn has been recognized as a unique talent in Nashville for 5 years.

Vaughn has created a sound that will have you begging for more of those heavy riffs, slamming bass, and Vaughn’s electrifying vocals. Vaughn’s new music was produced by Nashville rising producer Jesse Brock, winner of the International Songwriting Competition alongside co-writer and collaborator Notelle. Gabrielle Vaughn has been seen performing around Nashville, performing at venues such as City Winery and The End, and also on tour dates to the east coast.

Gabrielle Vaughn’s new pop-rock single “Criminal” is a song you’ll definitely want to add to your playlist. The track starts off with a strong beat that, alongside Gabrielle’s strong vocals, immerses you into the overall darker vibe of the track.
Of course, we can’t forget to acknowledge the insane electric guitar solo that is towards the end of the song. This solo adds uniqueness and an extra element to the song, making it much more fun to listen to.
Additionally, what also really stands out about this track is its lyrics. Chorus lyrics “We kill the damn radio/Another victim I know” are a clever play on words to represent the overall criminal feel of the song, by painting the radio as another victim on Vaughn and her lover’s hit list. If anyone knows how to deliver these lyrics with a perfect punch, it’s Vaughn.
