LA Music Review | Art, stories and advice
Dreamy, chill and full of life!

Hi Jonah, welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.
Hi! I’m Jonah Agas, a singer-songwriter from Marikina. Motion City Soundtrack and Japanese music are my core influences in music.
Writing music has been therapeutic and fun for me, a way to express my feelings and thoughts. I hope my songs will be a source of healing or relaxation for those who listen to them and serve as a time machine where they relive some of their moments whenever they want to.

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
Released on November 4, 2022. I sort of drew inspiration from myself and the journey of finding love. Also I got inspired by that tendency of independence and individuality, yet, we still want to share a beautiful experience with someone special.
What is your vision for this song?
Kyouki, my collaborator, asked me to send a song demo that would fit both of our styles in music. I sent him some songs like boy pablo and Craft Spells‘ songs for inspiration. I was thinking of a lo-fi and catchy punk pop song for genre.
As for the lessons, to love is a beautiful thing.
Love wholeheartedly.
What is your favorite part of the song?
My favorite parts of this work are writing the song, the process of collaborating with Kyouki, and the chorus of the recording.
Anything else we should know about? Future releases?
I’ll be releasing a song around this March or April. I hope you take a listen once it’s released.
