Diane de Mesa is a Fil-Am multi-awarded singer-songwriter…
independent music and multimedia artist from Bay Area, California. Born in the Philippines, she migrated to the United States with her family in the 90’s.
Diane discovered her talent for writing songs at the age of 7. She can easily create melodies in her head, she has written over 1,000 songs as well as poems. Diane is currently working on her 6th album, which contains all of her original song compositions. By profession, Diane is a Registered Nurse (RN) but continues to pursue her passion and love for music.
Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
“Sana Ako Na lang” was based from my true to life story regarding my own past crush.
The song is reliving that moment where I was wishing that he will notice me and hoping that he feels the same way.
What is your vision for this song?
This is one of my favorite tracks from my album, “My Everything” released in 2022. This track was written by yours truly and arranged by Elmer Blancaflor. The guitar solo was laid out by Greg Felix and bass by Jason Marrero. Dante Tanedo mixed the instrumental track, and Salvatore Manalo mixed and mastered it. What I like about it is it has a very catchy melody and the listener can feel “LSS” after listening to it.

The official music video of “Sana Ako Na lang”…
was released in December 2022 just days before the new year. Directed by Tonz Llander Are, with the actors Maye Serisola, Prince Genri, Angelyn Sequena of Daydreamer Entertainment Production. My singing scenes were shot and directed by Jessie Regidor of Freeze Time Media Production. This song was also featured on mainstream radio via EagleFM 95.5 in the Philippines.
