Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
Released on April 21, 2023. ElectraQueens’ new single is all about female empowerment. The group shares, โAs a trio of strong, resilient women, we wanted to write an anthem for not only other women but also a song to empower ourselves.
What is your vision for this song?
Itโs incredibly special to us and reminds us of all the beautiful things we can celebrate about being female, no matter what that may look like.
It also speaks on all the things we believe women deserve.
What is your favorite part of this body of work?
The line โnever seems to put her first, underestimates her worthโ was a line we had all felt deeply before, and we felt other women would relate to. We knew that we werenโt the only women that had felt this way, so we finally decided to sit down and write it for all the badass ladies out there who need some encouragement just like we do. This song is for all women, no matter what they look like.
Anything else we should know about?
The queens are currently working on new music with Grammy-award-winning producer Jesse Brock.
