LA Music Review | Art, stories and advice
Romantic and catchy!

Hi Orange District, welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.
Orange District is an alternative city pop band based in the Philippines that writes songs about love, hope, joy, and fascination.
Our band members are Makoy Hidalgo (vocals, guitar), Kenji Velasco (lead guitar), Dave Maranan (bass), and Emman Herico (drums).
We released our first single entitled “Binibini” last January. We’re excited to share our new song, “Unti.”

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
Released on April 14, 2023. Our inspiration for this song is our good friend, Alvin Andoy, who is madly crazy in love with her wife.
The song reminds us how we should value love and keep the feeling of being in love.
What is your vision for this song? What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?
Our vision is to inspire people currently experiencing depression and sad relationships. We hope that our song will remind them that love is always there. Whenever they are in a relationship, they should feel loved and valued every time. Cherish every moment with your significant other.
What is your favorite part of this song?
Our favorite part of the song is the Chorus part—when the moment comes that you’re in love, you will feel crazy about it and wish that it will be a happy ending.
Anything else we should know about? Future releases? Recent events?
We will release our next single entitled “You Got Me” mid this year.
We recently had awesome gigs last April 28 at Eastside Sandugo together with Olkisrotom, SkoolService, Sunset Drama, Glottis V, and many more.
We also performed last April 29 at Taguan Bar in San Mateo, Rizal for Space Needle Production together with Olkisrotom, SkoolService, Sunset Drama, Dannayha, Stella Cometa, The Nards, and a lot more.
Thank you so much L.A. MUSIC REVIEW for featuring our band and new released song! 🧡
