Multi-awarded Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi premiered his Wish You The Best music video last April 15, 2023, as part of Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent album (the fastest-selling album of the year).
The music video has already reached 23 million views and counting. This is one of the most heartbreaking music video that you will never forget.
Initially, you will consider this as a song for your past love (romantic relationship). But Lewis shared a different perspective on this song in the MV.
The MV revolves around the story of a dog Willow (Winnie) owned by postman John Fry (David Bradley). You’ll be reaching for the tissues as the MV presents a heartwarming tale of a devoted dog’s quest to find a new home with a new postman (Tom Lewis) when her cherished owner (Bradley) dies away.
Pets are truly a gift to humans. More than being a companion at lowest moments, they provide genuine joy and happiness to its owners.

The line “It’s like Glasgow gets farther from LA,” implies that the Lewis’ aspirations have been affected by the difficulties of fame. This was notable in his Netflix’s documentary, “How I’m Feeling Now” where he showed his vulnerability—a pivotal moment in his career.
