Hi Alec, welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music?
I am Alec Xavier Marcial, 23 years old and I am from the Philippines.
I started composing in 2019 and it was released in 2021. The first single that I’ve released is “Reyna” after a successful release I continued composing and 2023 is my best year so far because at the first quarter of this year I have released 3 songs. As of now my most streamed song is “Paalam Na” which currently has 3,000 streams on Spotify.
Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
“Paalam Na” is all about saying goodbye to the memories between you and your bestfriend that you have fallen in love with.
Released January 27, 2023. You have to say goodbye to your feelings to him/her because he/she is now happy with someone else. This song is inspired from the Netflix movie titled “Ngayon Kaya”.
What is your vision for this project?
My vision for this project is that more people can relate to this song and I want to inspire them through this song that you don’t have to push yourself to the person that is not meant for you. When you push yourself the more your heart gets hurt.

What is your favorite part of this body of work?
It’s the bridge part because it is the most powerful body of the song and most emotional, the lyrics and the musical scoring of the song.
Anything else we should know about it? Future releases?
For now I am busy with my graduation that’s why I am not having a release but I am still doing compositions and some compositions are not yet finished but soon I will release another song.
