Taylor shares that she had her heart set on Joey King, Taylor Lautner, and Presley Cash starring in it. Joey and Presley had been in the video for โMeanโ when they were 9 and 13 and they are back and ready to roll.
A spy truck, security lasers, and numerous fight sequences are featured in the video, all of which Taylor Lautner performed by himself without the use of a stunt double, according to Swift. She explained that even though she had all the video concept, which she also directed, planned out more than a year and a half ago, it became a challenge for her to coordinate the schedules of all the actors. It all came together this spring, and the cast assembled in Liverpool.

“Taytay is incredible in this (didnโt have a stunt double!) and shout out to Tay Lautner for being so awesome to hang with on set. The Tale of 3 Taylors
I always wanted to direct fight scenes/a heist storyline and had the most incredible time plotting this out with my amazing Director of Photograhy (DP), Jonathan Sela. So proud of this one.”
Swift said, “I wanted to tell a story visually that conveyed how you guys have assisted me in getting my music back.”
