Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

Released on October 11, 2023. This song was written so many years ago, I honestly don’t remember where it came from or why. I do remember singing the first verses in the car and thinking it was the start of something good. (And it was!) Our main musical influence for this one was Fleetwood Mac, and the result truly echoes their vibe.

What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?

Faded Underwear conveys the experience of re-playing again and again old memories in our minds, causing ourselves continued anguish and pain. As the lyrics describe, “Your mind plays it once more, you never like how it ends.” The verses illustrate the setting and emotion with empathy and understanding, while the chorus offers guidance and wisdom. We can think about the past forever, but it won’t change it. Those memories had their time and place. “Let it go dove. Time to sing a new song.”

What is your favorite part of this body of work?

One of our favorite parts of this work was the process itself. This song came together like a dream. Though it’s our fourth release, it was actually the very first song we recorded. No other recording has gone as smoothly as this one did. The way it fell so effortlessly into place… It was like magic.

As for favorite parts of the final product; we love the iconic lyric that became such an intriguing title for the song, and the guitar solo in the bridge is melodic perfection.

Future releases? Upcoming events?

We have another single, Sunset, we’re currently working on in the studio. It’s a soft yet empowering song scheduled for release in February 2024.
