LA Music Review | Art, stories and advice

God is the true source of joy,
peace and ultimate satisfaction!

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Hi John, welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.

My music is made for people who are looking for a song that will encourage but also challenge you.

I put as much emphasis into the lyrics as I do into the song itself. I make two different versions of the same song; Green Version and Orange Edition. If you’re looking for straight alternative and pop/punk rock music, then Green Version is great for you! If you like something with an extra edge to it, Orange Edition is the one for you!

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

This song details the struggles, triumphs and realizations I had while I was growing in my faith as a married man.

Released on November 24, 2021. My inspiration came as I was walking at the parking lot at work. All of the things I desired to have before I was married, now were things I could have! The prestige in my position at work, the way it was much easier to connect with women and even get their phone numbers!

Now these were things I didn’t desire to have anymore because I realized that they were empty and still not satisfying to my soul.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

What is your vision for this song?

My vision is that others would hear the song and realize that pursuing things in life will not satisfy you, but that God Himself, would be their true joy, peace and ultimate satisfaction.

What is your favorite part of this body of work?

The addition of the horns and trumpets, really helps this song stand out from any other song I have heard.
