LA Music Review | Art, stories and advice
Upbeat and truly captivating!

Hi Felisayo, welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.
Hi I’m Felisayo Anjorin. My art is from the heart. Music comes to me in those quiet moments when I’m alone. I think about the vastness of the world and my place in it, including the things I care about.
Music is also an outlet for thoughts I would rather not keep inside me.
I’ve been a lover of music right from childhood. I’m fond of reading a book or listening to music on the radio, so I’ve taken in so much music. It is not a surprise that it is now coming out.

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

Released on November 16, 2022. “Blessed With The Best” is the easiest song I’ve written so far.
I got angered by something someone said about me; the fellow’s view of my life as an artist was that I had failed, even though he was not aware of the progress I’ve been making with my art.
So that Sunday morning, I got a pen and started writing even in angry mood. By the time I was done, I had a song and it pacified me.
What is your vision for this song? What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?
My vision for this project is to be a message for those who are threatened with my progress.
I would want people to know that you don’t have to live your life in the way someone else expects you to.
You don’t have to seek validation from people. It’s okay to be satisfied with who you are. You are unique. Even if you are going to make changes, it would be you taking charge of your life and not someone sitting as a judge over your life.
What is your favorite part of this body of work?
The music video was my favorite part. I was with my long-term collaborator, Oba Kabiesi Ademola. We had fun on set with the crew.
Anything else we should know about it? Future releases?
Blessed With The Best music video is out. Another video will be out on the 29th of May. I’m also shooting two other videos later in May.
