LA Music Review | Art, stories and advice
Fun, upbeat and insanely romantic!

Hi Pierrie welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.
Singer songwriter Pierrie Sanidad of Music Emblem infuses love songs in different genres.
He is a composer, arranger & producer of his own songs- influenced by “Tunog Kalye”, “new wave”, and “Kundiman”.
He started writing when he created his own lyrics of well-known music. He wrote his first original song “muling buhayin ang puso”. He became a composer for more than 25 years, with more than hundreds of original songs up to present. Most of his songs were privately uploaded for future purposes. He has 31 original songs publicly uploaded on his Youtube Channel ( Music Emblem Tatak OPM) and 3 songs on his Spotify.
He expanded his music hobby by collaborating with some of the talented Independent Songwriters. It is also his other way of showing support to his fellow songwriters.
Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
Released March 3, 2023. Most of the time, my inspiration in writing songs comes from other people around me and most especially from my friends.
But when I wrote the song Day One, the story was different. Day One was inspired by an Asian drama that I watched with my friends.
Then I ask my friends, if ever I’m going to write a song about this drama which one is better, English or Tagalog? And they both replied at the same time. The other one said Tagalog and the other one said English. Then they started arguing about it which one is which and then that’s the time I decided to go Taglish(a combination of English and Tagalog) and that’s how the song was made.
“Day One” is also a part of the 3rd Album launched by Songwriters United The Rock White Album.

What is your vision for this song?
Writing songs is my relaxation during my free time.
I want my music to be an inspiration and comfort to the music lovers out there, and be an influence to those aspiring songwriters that no matter what we do, don’t take away your passion for music, keep on writing and publishing them on your social media platforms.
Anything else we should know about it? Future releases?
I have a list of projects in line at this time. Singles and some collaborations with other indie artists to be released this year.
