LA Music Review | Art, stories and advice
Deep and heartwarming!

Hi Thirteen, welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.
Hi I’m Thirteen! I write songs that are inspired by emotions and real-life events in an effort to inspire others.

I want my music to speak to whoever’s listening and show them that they are not alone with whatever they are going through.
Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
My song “Oras” is about wanting to stop time to spend more quality moments with our loved one. When someone dies, we just want to hold them one more time. It’s the hidden message behind this song.
Most of the listeners may interpret it as a song for someone who got replaced with a new lover. It’s created that way so you can learn how to relate to the song while listening and understanding the lyrics.

What is your vision for this song? What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?
Time can’t be bought.
We need to value and cherish the time we spend with our special someone, family, and the people around us. We can’t turn back time, so we have to make the most of it.
What is your favorite part of this body of work?
Ika’y para sa akin
Ngunit kailangan kang palayain
I love the emotions I put in when making this song. I want the listeners to feel it and send the message across.
