Hi Sai, welcome to LA Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music?

Sai Vsr is a pop singer-songwriter based in Hyderabad…

who draws inspiration from the likes of Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, J. Cole, and the Weeknd. By fusing heartfelt songwriting with pop sensibilities, Sai is rapidly emerging as a distinctive voice in the indie scene.

Sai’s most recent track, “Mi Amor,is an emotionally-fuelled ballad where past regrets meet the memories of a love that once was. What’s intriguing is that his first-ever demo vocals for this track were so raw and evocative that they seamlessly found their place in the final cut. The song’s brilliance was further augmented by Bombay’s gifted music producer, Sudan.

Showcasing his artistry at the city’s top music spots through memorable indie shows, Sai is not just a performer; he’s a storyteller who thrives on creating an intimate rapport with his audience, turning each show into a collaborative experience.

Reflecting on his musical journey, Sai succinctly summarizes his philosophy, “Music’s given me a lot,” he says, “Every now and then, I try to return the favor by writing my own songs.”

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

Released September 8, 2023. It came from a place of wanting to talk to someone I really missed, someone whom I hadn’t spoken to in a long while (for a good reason of course).

I just wanted to make sure if she was okay, if that makes sense, and that’s how the song worked out.

What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?

Life is too short to be caught up in what once was, and too unpredictable to be worried about what’s going to happen. I guess you just have to remember to be in the moment.

What is your favorite part of this body of work?

My favorite part of the song is the bridge.
