“The song is about losing somebody you love. And I know a lot of people have; I know this has been a really challenging year where we’ve lost loved ones and relationships too.” Bieber said as this song was released.
At first, it may seem that this song is something about breakup, but as we indulge ourselves deeper to its meaning, it focuses more on the loss of a beloved one.
Bieber hopes that this song may serve as a blanket of comfort to whoever is experiencing a loss of someone they truly care about.
